Bird Watching (also known as Birding) in Myanmar is becoming increasingly popular in Asia for the rare endangered species found in it.

Myanmar is home to 1,035 species of birds, which is 12% of the bird species in the world. You will surely get a memorable bird watching experience in Myanmar due to the beauty of Mother Nature with plentiful of natural resources and diverse terrains it offers.

There are also some rare endangered bird species in Myanmar. According to myanmarbiodiversity.org, there are 47 Globally Threatened bird species in Myanmar with 7 of them listed as Critically Endangered. 2 of the Critically Endangered are possibly extinct within the country with one also being globally extinct.
