Diving is one of the most exciting and unforgettable part of an adventurous trip. There are several diving sites in Myanmar and the best ones out of them include Myeik Archipelago (Mergui Archipelago), Ngapali Beach & Ngwesaung Beach.
Myeik Archipelago (Mergui Archipelago)
Myeik Archipelago is located in the southernmost part of Myanmar and it is home to over 800 scenic islands and beautiful coral reefs. The islands and the sea are alive with a variety of plants and marine life. The underwater scenery of Myeik Archipelago is one of the most wonderful view you'll ever see.
Diving industry in the Myeik Archipelago isn't as developed as in other areas as it was off-limits to outsiders since the 1940s until it was opened again for toursim in 1997. Most of the islands in the Archipelago still remain untouched and unspoiled, partly due to the fact that most areas of the Archipelago are still yet to be explored.
The best time to dive is between December and April.
