Kondawgyi Temple
info The Kondawgyi literally means “Great Holy Mound”, and its name is derived from being situated on a mound.
Situated close to Thetkyamuni, the Temple appears to belong to 13th Century AD. Besides the vivid mural paintings of 550 Jataka stories, there are stucco carvings in the inner and outer parts of the Temple.
