Sri Kali Temple

info Sri Kali Temple is one of the most richly decorated Hindu temples with the impressive stone sculptures and carvings of Hindu gods around around its colourful roof.

The temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali, and it can be found at the centre of Yangon, in downtown. It was build in 1871 by Tamil immigrants while Myanmar was still under British colonial rule. Today, the temple is known to be maintained by the local Indian community in Yangon.
