info At the top of the hill overlooking the harbour is the Pyi Taw Aye Pagoda. unlike many other Myanmar temples. you can walk inside and under the main stupa. It was originally built in 1949 to a height of only 16.5ft (5m). and later raised to its current structure of 70ft (21m).
