Ywama Village

info Ywama Village is located in Inlay lake. It is the largest village with the streets of the village like the webs of the canals. Some of the beautiful teak houses are built on large wooden poles driven into the Lake bed. 

info Pyadalin prehistoric cave is situated on the western slope of Shan State, Ywangan township, Pindaya district, Southern Shan State. This cave was firstly discovered in 1960. The rock paintings are seen in the cave.

info Yat Taw Mu Buddha (ခေမာရဋ္ဌဗျာဒိတ်ပေးရပ်တော်မူဘုရားကြီး) or the Standing Buddha Image, is situated on Son-sah as Jom-rak hill in Kyaing Tong, Shan State.

info Pone Ta Lote Lake (ပုန်းတလုတ်ရေကန်) is situated in Pindaya, Shan State and 3880 feet (1183m) above sea level.

info Yadana Man Aung Pagoda is situated in Nyaung Shwe. Built by Nyaung Shwe Saw Bwar Soe Maung (Chieftain of Shan) in 1866, this Pagoda is famous for its Shan tranditional architecture.

info The Palaungs, who mainly live in the Kalaw area in Shan State, belong to the Mon-Khmer. It takes about two to four hours through the hills to the village of the Palaung tribe.

info The beautiful monastery with Shan traditional architecture is located 1.5km far from the Myanmar-Thai Friendship Bridge.

info One prominent Landmark of Kyaing Tong is the One Tree Hill. This is a Kanyin Phyu Tree (Dipterocarpus Alatus) growing on top of the Soam Mom Hill on the outskirt of the city.

info Naung Tong (also spelled as 'Nong Tung') Lake lies in the centre of the Kyaing Tong (formerly known as Kengton), the city of far east in Shan State, and it had been known that it covered the whole city once. It is a historical legendary lake.

info The Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery, just outside Nyaung Shwe, is a fascinating wooden monastery built in the early 19th Century.

info The winding complex of natural caves and tunnels is filled to bursting point with Buddha Images in an astonishing variety of shapes and sizes. The Myin Ma Hti cave is 1028ft (313m) long from the entrance.

info Set inside a natural cave dripping with golden Buddha statues. Shwe U Min Pagoda (ရွှေဥမင် ဘုရား) is about half a mile south-west of the Kalaw Market.

info Located on a hill to the western side of Theinni Road, Shan State and it is over 250 years old.

info Shan State Cultural Museum (ရှမ်းပြည်နယ် ယဉ်ကျေးမှုပြတိုက်) displays colorful costumes, weapons, musical instruments and old photos of various tribes of Shan State.

info The Kyauk Phyu Gyi Buddha Image is just one km south of Nyaung Shwe, facing the east in Nanthe village which is inhabited by Intha people.
