info Latsaykan Gate was built of sandstone with the use of keystone archway construction technique. Sandstones were carved into the required shapes and cemented.
Among the many gates in Mrauk U. only Minthamee. Shinphyudaw. Kyakhet. Latsaykan and Mauktaw gates remain in good condition.
