Mrauk U was a leading trade city during its time. and abundant networks of canals allowed small and large vessels to go by. Merchants of Mrauk U traded with Middle East. Asia. Holland. Andaw Pagoda
 info The Andaw Pagoda of Mrauk U is the Pagoda enshrining the tooth-relic of Buddha. The Pagoda is located about 86ft (26m) from the Shitthaung Pagoda in the north-east direction. Min Hla Raza was the original builder of this Pagoda in AD 1521.
 
Phaya Ouk Temple

info Sakkyar Man Aung Pagoda is located on the east side of Mrauk U. This pagoda is known to be one othe five most revered “Mann” paya of Mrauk U. Kin Sri Suddhamma Raja built the Sakkyar Man Aung Pagoda in AD 1629. It is located in the south of Yadanar Man Aung Pagoda.
 
Latsaykan Gate
info Latsaykan Gate was built of sandstone with the use of keystone archway construction technique. Sandstones were carved into the required shapes and cemented.
 
Yadanar Man Aung Pagoda
info Yadanar Man Aung Pagoda is known to be one of the five most revered “Man” paya of Mrauk U period. It is situated about half a mile (0.8km) in the northeast from the ancient palace mound, having been built in 1658 by King Sanda Thudhamma Yaza and Queen Yadana Piya Dewi.

A new Mrauk U museum is located near the palace site. It displays some old artefacts of Vesali. Launggret and Mrauk U periods. The bronze Buddha icons of Rakhine are equistic in design.Various inscribed stone inscriptions in Sanskrit. Rakhine and Arabic are also displayed Votive tablets. Krishna Vishnu. Bodhisattvas. dvarapala. stone htis. lintels coins. musical instruments. ceramicswares are also on display.
 
Lawka Man Aung Wish Granting Pagoda
info It is the most ancient Pagoda in Myitkyina, Kachin State, built by King Alaung Sithu who enshrined Buddha’s relics which he got, while on tour of the country, north of Thayagon village on the west bank of Ayeyarwaddy, south of Namhsan Creek.

Laymyethnar Pagoda
info About a distance of 150ft (46m) to the northwest of the Dukkhanthein Pagoda is the Laymyethnar Pagoda or “the Four-faced pagoda”. King Minsawmon, the first king of Mrauk-U Dynasty, built it in 1430 AD.
