Myanmar Name : Swel Daw Pann
English Name : Bull Hoof Blossom/Orchid Tree Blossom
It varies from shrub to large tree. The leaf of this tree is heart-shaped. The flowers may he white, pink, red, yellow or purple. The flower’s long stamens are surrounded by petals. It is a popular landscaping flower along roadways.

Myanmar Name : Khway Pann
This is a tropical herb. It can be grown easily by grafting. There are many varieties, some of which are grown as ornamental plants. It bears big beautiful flowers. There are two varieties: one that blooms flowers in summer and the other that blooms in cold season. The roots of the summer variety are like tubers.

Padauk

This flower usually blooms at Thingyan (Myanmar Water Festival) or around Thingyan. The time is in April of each year. It has a yellow color.
It is also known as Thingyan Flower. It gives sweet smells and a favourite for the Thingyan lovers.
