info Bawbawgyi Pagoda is one of the earliest Pagodas in the history of ancient edifices in Myanmar.
Built in the early part of the Thayekhittaya Pyu period. approximately AD 5th Century. this Pagoda is known to be the earliest in the region. No stone inscription of its history has not been excavated yet.
