Bagan

Bagan (formerly spelled Pagan) goes back very nearly to the start of the Christian Era. It lies on the twist of the Ayeyarwaddy River. Bagan might be checked to have begun with King Anawrahta. He climbed the throne of Bagan in 1044. Around then, the kingdom was under various religions. After Shin Arahan's landing to Bagan, it changed over to Theravada Buddhism.  It was said to be that every last family unit could give a consecrated Pagoda, in light of their confidence in Buddhism accept and likewise in view of their riches.
